HOW DOES A HERD SHARE WORK?
In a herd share agreement, people buy shares of a milking herd and pay the farmer to care for and milk the animals. As owners, the shareholders are entitle to the dairy produced by their animals.
WHY IS OUR MILK BETTER?
Our cows are certified A2A2 milk producers. Clean raw milk from grass-fed cows is filled with amino acids and beneficial enzymes. Our dairy products contain no fillers, added hormones, preservatives or unnatural chemicals. Guernsey milk color is light yellow in color often referred as golden milk which has a delicious taste.
HOW ARE OUR COWS RAISED?
Our Guernsey cows are raised on pastures of native grasses and legumes. They lay around in the sunshine and breathe fresh air. They truly live the good life.
WHAT IS THE COST OF HERD SHARE OWNERSHIP?
We charge a one time buy in fee of $150/share and a Monthly boarding fee of $80/share which equates to 1 gallon milk per week.
HOW IS THE MILK DISTRIBUTED?
We have a pickup location in the South Charlotte (Exit 57 on I485). We plan to expand to more locations soon. Once the milk has been delivered, the shareholders swing by and pick up their dairy
